(she/her/hers)

After the wind and waves receded,

I discovered an inner castle.

It had been there the whole time.

This little poem came to me after one of my own sessions in EMDR therapy. I realized that I was not broken, as I had once thought, just that life’s storms had covered up my enduring strength and shining spirit. This is one of the trickiest parts of trauma: it’s not just about what we had to endure, it’s also about how what-we-endured changed the way we experience ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.

Trauma-specific therapies like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS (Internal Family Systems) can help us compassionately unwind from these stories and reconnect with our most authentic self, while DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and mindfulness-based practices can help us build the resiliency tools needed to skillfully weather the next wave thrown at us.

With seven years of experience in the mental health field and trauma-specific trainings in EMDR and IFS, I am here to help you reawaken your resiliency, transform old wounds, and get in touch with your most fully embodied life. I am committed to compassionate, person-centered, strengths-based care for all who come through my door. I believe that we heal in a container of safety and will always prioritize consent, honesty, and trust in the therapeutic relationship.

If you are feeling ready to move towards a more meaningful, more compassionate, more resilient life, I would love to partner with you in your healing journey.
